What data PabIPTV uses, why, and how to delete it.
PabIPTV is a media player only. No playlist, no channel and no video stream is provided with the app. PabIPTV does not provide, host or sell any content or subscription. You must add your own sources (Xtream Codes or M3U) and only watch content you have the right to watch. PabIPTV is not affiliated with any content provider.

This policy explains which data the app uses, why, and how to delete it.
Data stored on your device only
The catalog cache, playback preferences (quality, subtitles, audio tracks remembered per series, buffer, autoplay of the next episode…), favorite and recent channels, downloads and the TMDB information cache stay on the device. They are never sent to PabIPTV and are removed when you uninstall the app.
Account and sync (optional)
If you sign in with Google or with Apple (on iPhone and iPad), an account is created with our hosting provider Supabase to sync your devices. It contains: your email address (or the relay address provided by Apple if you choose to hide yours) and your name, your playlists (server address, Xtream username and password, or M3U URL), your profiles, your favorites, your watch progress and the (hashed) fingerprint of your parental PIN.
This data is only used to make sync work. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising. Without signing in, the app works entirely locally.
Third-party services
Your IPTV provider: the app connects directly to the servers you added to load catalogs and play videos. How they process your data is governed by their own policy.
TMDB (The Movie Database): the titles you browse are sent to TMDB to fetch images, ratings, overviews and trailers.
JustWatch (through TMDB): used for the streaming-platform filter.
YouTube: trailers are played with the embedded YouTube player.
Google and Apple: only used to sign in to the account.
Chromecast and AirPlay: when you cast, the address of the video is sent to your TV device on your local network.
Connectivity check: the app regularly queries a technical address from Google and Cloudflare (without any personal data) to know whether the Internet is reachable.
No analytics, advertising or tracking tool is built into the app.
Retention and deletion
Sync data is kept as long as your account exists. You can delete a playlist, a profile or a favorite from the app at any time, and sign out in Settings.
To permanently delete your account and all synced data: Settings › Account › Delete my account. Deletion is immediate.

Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can request access to, correction, portability or erasure of your data by writing to io9042441192001@gmail.com. You can also contact the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
Children
PabIPTV is not specifically aimed at children. Parental controls (a PIN and hidden categories per profile) are available in Settings.
